Linocut is a printmaking technique where a design is carved into the surface of a sheet of linoleum, which is then inked and printed onto paper or another material.
What I love most about linocut is its versatility. Whether I'm creating bold, graphic prints or delicate, detailed artworks, linocut offers endless possibilities for experimentation and expression. For this piece, I carved out an old illustration I made. The thrill of inking the carved surface and pressing it onto paper never gets old; it's a moment of anticipation and excitement, waiting to see how the final print will turn out.
